Is there a place?

Is there a place where hearts don’t brake?
What do they call it, where faiths don’t shake?

Tell me the way, where dreams are not shattered
Which road to take, where life is not scattered

There, sun must always be shining
Must be rare to find people whining

Tell me the place; I want to go there for a while
Where people greet life with a broad smile

Everyone is respected for what they are
Where hatred and dishonesty is not anyone’s scar

Where my insecurities and fears don’t tear me apart
Material is immaterial; people are only judged by their heart

Tell me fast, I want to go there before it showers
Place where people are more beautiful than flowers

With roses everywhere, it would always be bloom
It must be heaven, where wet sand smells sweeter than perfume

If you don’t read this post now, you’ll hate yourself later ...

I just looked through an interesting book called "The Book of Questions" in which Dr. Gregory Stock throws out at you poses more than 400 questions that really help you explore your values, morals, beliefs, whatever, whatever...

Some are quiet simple questions, such as "Do you ever spit in public?" Others are questions that really test your values, such as "Would you be willing to eat 100 live crickets to become Ammir Khan’s driver?"

Fine, I changed the last question a little, but I haven't changed any of the following. I'm just going to answer them straight away… Ji haan… Abhi… Seedhey seedhey… Jaldi jaldi:

Question: In a nice restaurant, after getting the check for an excellent meal, you notice that you were not charged for one of the items you ate. What would you tell the waitress?
Answer: Thank you.

Q
: If you were at a friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner and you found a dead cockroach in your salad, what would you do?

A: Toss it into my friend’s bowl. That way, I won't embarrass my friend and also do what was taught to me in school: share.

Q: What was your best experience with drugs or alcohol? Your worst experience?
A: Best: When I had them[ no drugs]. Worst: After waking  affect .:)

Q: For $20,000 would you go for three months without washing, brushing your teeth or using deodorant?

A: Most certainly! (BTW how much would you pay people around me?)

Q: If you went to a movie with a friend and it was lousy; would you leave?
A: Maybe. Maybe not. I’m not sure… I know an answer can’t be more abstract, but I don’t want to go in boring detail. For further clarifications, you could mail me.

Q: If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone?

A: I would regret having told my parents how much I love & value my CELL,LAPPY & plzz do not touch them! and yaa i love you so very much :)

Q: What are you most scared of?

A: The readers finding out that this is a bogus question & the title of the post was just a gimmick to capture their attention.:P

Laziness personified

Well today I finally got dressed-up  after about 36 hours lounging around and enjoying my days off :)

I haven't been out side since wednesday which is really  wired for gal like me:)
I was very domesticated and made omelet and strawberry and  mango smoothie .  the smoothie  turned out...ehh interestingly and omelet  was  good enough to impress  my family .
I haven't done anything mediciney in days, I should really start reading up something. I mean i don't wana show up in class like blank slate :)
I really need a change in the air, something to go really well or just something to change because it feels like everyone, like I mean EVERYONE has got to a sense of a slump and noone really cares.hmmmmmmmmmm on second thought i kinda like being Lazy just for some more days.

Till then i'll  spend all day just in pajamas, hair up in ponytail, watch as many movies as  i can and  do absolutely NOTHING :)

Happy Birthday Ankit !!!!!!!!!!!

hello ppl ..  as you can tell today is very spacial day for me :) today is the BIRTHDAY  of my very besty ANKIT!!! I'm all ready for cake n ......... ok :P
but ya just wana thank God for this beautiful person in my  life ,who mean so  so much to me!
ANKIT: here a poem i wrote for you on your Birthday  ....

My most wanted wish, it always was
To have a friend, maybe not one without flaws
But one who'd be there to wipe away my tears
And help me face my worst fears

One who would bestow the ideal love upon me
And a friendship ,that would, for eternity be
When God finally heard my wish and began to ponder
He made me meet you...at first I did wonder

There you were, with the innocence of a child
And an attitude, sometimes tough, sometimes mild
With a talent for spreading smiles and cheer
And a heart and mind that were so clear

With the cutest face, containing eyes ,so pretty and enormous
And finally, complete with a touch of God's own genius
I hadn't realized that my wish had been granted
I even thought, a friendship with me, you never wanted

But then, you made the first move and showed me
That you cared and a friend to me, you would be
As the time flew by and reality began to unfold
Our friendship grew stronger and more precious than gold

You made everything that mattered, so special for me
And showed me what a genius I too could be
Even though our fights sure brought the roof down
In the end, we always managed to laugh away the frown

Thanks for showing me how to be there for each other
I promise to always be by your side in your bother
To me, you’ve become one of the people who most matter
Definitely, I couldn't have asked for a friend any better

Wishing you the Happiest Birthday Ever !!!!

Wrong Number

If I had a dollar for every time I get a call not meant for me, I'd be so rich. It's become a daily thing. Well, today I got two, count them 1+1 = 2, wrong number calls. SERIOUSLY, are people stupid? Do they not know their own numbers or what the heck is going on?! I blame the 'contacts' thing from cell phones. Be completely honest: how many phone numbers do you know? A couple of years ago I knew all of my friends' phone numbers... but that was cause I would use my house phone to make the calls... so that required to know the number and not the name of the person. Now, I only know the obvious ones: my house number, my mom's cell phone, my bro's cell phone, and the b[best]friend's:D. I don't really have that many friends, so I don't have to know everyone else's!
So come on ppl  use the brain some time and check the no before Dialing ..:)

Systematic Approach!!

Ahem ahem...! Ya.. I am making some plans AGAIN! :D (this looks like a euphoric smiley but what I wanted to show was a sheepish grin![:D]

I mean we all know... right.. I go ahead make some super plans .. stick to it for a few days and then revert back to my old lazy ways. Okie.. before I raise the curtain and talk about my super plans..

Disclaimer: I don't hold myself responsible for not being able to follow whatever I am going to type from here on in this particular post.I totally understand the limitation human nature to be absolutely random and non systematic and this is just a pilot test for systematic approach towards my high entropy life.

1. I will stick to the time quadrants.
-Do the important and non-urgent things on daily basis so that I don't have to run around breaking head to meet deadlines and study more ! [Phew! It took me 12yrs + 3yrs + 6 months of education to learn understand this!!]

2. I will take better care of health. [ considering I am getting older.. NOOOOOOO I am NOT turning 40 or anything it just i think i should take care of my self more :) ]

3. I will read more books/newspaper..[LESS MTV]  and be updated with the news cause I can't can't UNDERSTAND anything!!!!! :( [Okay that was little exaggeration, now the Truth: I always wanted to be able to listen to news without feeling like an illiterate..when the news reader goes.. " The GDP BLAh blah blah the Fiscal deficit Blah Blah blah.. so ya whatever that is ]

4. Hair fall control [thats all!]

5. Reduce mental clutter by focusing on where I am rather than focusing on where I have to go.. [ Man..! I already sound like a saint.. now having said that I again sound like an errrrr normal insane person that I am!]

6. I want to draw, sketch, paint not applicable after point 5.

7. Be more independent. I am actually .. very independent but there are few things which no one knows and no one will ever know how important some little gestures are to me.

Thats all!!

Bling Bling v/s Baba

As you all know, I'm soooo ville nowadays that my mind start hurting of doing NOTHING .. This post is result of my vellapan :)

While watching TV at a rate of 60 channels per minute today, I came across a pravachan/bhaasan/whatever by a certain Gyaani Baba-ji… He was bhaashan-ing about the cons of being money minded… And as you all know,

“Every bhaashan has an equal an opposite criticism”
Baba Nandini :)

Now coming back to the topic , “Gyaani baba-ji” said:

PS. All the red-colored words are inspired by Baba-ji & all the blue colored words are also inspired by Baba-ji…

Money cannot buy happiness:
Really!!! I’m so sorry, I didn’t know… OK then, what does? Jawab do[please reply]...

Money cannot buy health:
To think of it, some gareeb jann[poor ppl] live to be hundred, some die young. The same holds true with regard to rich people. However, who do you think has a better chance at getting an expensive treatment for some nasty rog[diseases], huh? Bolo bolo[ tell tell]… Bataaiye

Money-minded people are evil:
Why? Why? Why? Is it so bad to have  dhan[mula]  in life?

Ameer aadmi[reach ppl ] don’t assault others, at least not in the street at night. Not with a knife or a gun or a chaaku or a churi. They do this with their dimaag, because they know how to use it!!!

Have you ever seen Bill Gates, Warren Buffett,Ambani,Mittal point a knife at someone at 1 in the night, & say-“Chal bey shaane, buy reliance CDMA mobile handsets/Blackberry powered by Airtel or I slit your throat with my designer knife!” So, we do not have any evidence to prove that they’re dusht/paapi/neech.

They are greedy aka laalchi, beyond doubt. But, evil aka dusht/paapi/neech???

Money is not everything in life:
True, very true… My house isn’t made of money, nor is it money that I eat 3 times in my case 10 times :) a day, but it is money that got me the roti, kapda aur makaan!!! The same applies for my Rolando's poster, shoes , candies, clothes, lappy, cell phone, etc, etc, etc…

Nobody eats for free, even if YOU do, koi na koi, kahin na kahin [someone somewhere], PAYS for it!!!

Honestly, Babas (& Babis, if that’s what the female versions are called) nobody is interested in that perennial gibberish of what money cannot buy. It’s what money can buy, that appeals to the aam aadmi/Mango people  !!!

I would have continued typing more of this boring aka bekaar aka faltu interesting post, but there’s a very near-dear someone waiting for me on GTalk & hence I need to take leave… See you… Tata… And of course, Jai-Ho Lakshmi Mata!!! (Those who scream along get a candy)

Typical She.. the one n only ...

Girls are such a creature who would emerge very unlike from at first what they are. It’s not only the hormones alone its something which they take over from Venus. Girlfriends and wives can be the best spy team in the world. No more better detectives we could get. This XX chromosome has full on potential to bring guys down in most of the conditions :P . Make sure you have Venus in your favor or else this lady luck can ruin you with the help of jhadu (kind of Indian vacuum cleaner). A typical she is gifted with a dhasu kind of memory, able to remember all the days you didn’t come and call  on time, you forgot to take her out, number of time you didn’t said you love her, times you slept while she was telling you how  poo, sue, mina , tina told her latest gossip..etc etc etc..
She is definitely the one you chose for yourself when you didn’t know the hidden talents of getting screwed.:P
So all you fools there get some phool (flower) for your dear one just in case you have only one, if not then try something that bites less of your pocket. Keep the typical one happy inside and rest you can be assured off. She would kill you with her smile.
:D

A Pappu in Every HouseHold......

A pappu in every household…
I don’t know about the rest of the world but if you have any Indian links, I’m mighty sure you’ve at the least, 1 pappu at home.. !!!

Pappu bhaiya ??
Pappu mama??
Pappan uncle ??
Pappu, ur best friend’s nickname – he wouldn’t have told you for sure you dumbo!!
Pappu- the guy who can’t dance, s**** !!
Pappu-the guy who doesn’t vote…
Pappu-the guy who washes your car???
Pappu, your new neighbor??
Pappu – the milk man??
Pappu- jo pass ho gaya !!!
Pappu –who picks his nose !!!

I wonder what’s with the name??!! I’m definitely going to Google it one of these days!!
Google: “origin of pappu”- apart from his parents, silly !
Google: “the pappu revolution”
Google: “who names their kids pappu???” ……… I mean people still doooo ??!!!!!!!!
Google: “who was the first pappu anyway??????”
Google: “why can’t people get over the name pappu??”

And while Google looks for my answers, I assume pappu’s graduated from being just a household name to a synonym for the Indian guy-next- door !!

Ok, Mr.every READER - are you a pappu too ???!!!

P.s .. what’s the female version of pappu ??? pappy??? Pappi?? Papp’irl’?? papp’woman’ ???:P
